Glad to see this video and other commenters finding success following your advice. My alienware laptop just randomly had this problem two boot ups in a row, but on the third attempt booted properly. Kind of weird. Will keep this video saved if I encounter it again.

If all the hardware passed the diagnostic then the next step would be to try reinstalling the operating system. Usually, this is caused by a problem with the operating system. What if it is saying no hard drive found in the middle of onboard diagnostics? What do I do gen?
it's most likely that you need a new hard drive. Sometimes when a hard drive starts to die the motherboard doesn't read it as being installed. You probably need to go into the microphone setting and select the headphones as your microphone.

Hi, you've been beyond helpful, I have a quick question, my laptop's removable jack is measuring 28-29V, even though the charger is rated 20V, is the thing fried? or maybe it has fast charging now hahaha, thank you.

Hi, I have a Dell Optiplex 7090 micro which turns off suddenly and won't turn back on when pressing the power key. It shows an amber light when pressing the power button and will not turn on. I checked the output volt coming from the adapter and it reads 18.73 volts. This adapter is rated with 19.5v 90W. Do you think that the actual voltage being lower than the rated voltage is causing this issue? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
That seems close enough that it should be fine. Have you tried discharging the flea power?
@@EggheadFixers Really appreciate your efforts to give the reply. Yes, I tried that already but doesn't help. One thing I have noticed is that when I insert the output pin from the adapter to the dc jack behind the PC, the green light on the adapter brick fades for a second and then gets back to the full intensity. Anyway, I have ordered a cheap adapter online with the same power ratings to see if the problem is still there with the new one as well.
